Hi and welcome to our blog, Tinnitus Terminator™ exploring the Natural remedies or solutions to tinnitus available today.
Tinnitus or ringing ears is an ailment (not a disease) that affects over 40 million US citizens alone – some estimates say over 50 million! It is globally a massive problem for countless millions of people.
Can Tinnitus Be Cured?
Some would argue that tinnitus cannot in fact be cured. In our opinion however this is disingenuous to say the least.
For example. Tinnitus has many different causes, sometimes related to a medical condition like a blocked or twisted vein in the neck/ear area. This can result in pulsatile tinnitus.
If this condition can be remedied by surgical intervention, then it goes without saying that the tinnitus has been cured, if that was the initial cause and the surgery was successful of course.
Tinnitus is NOT a disease
We must keep in mind that Tinnitus is NOT a disease (though it can be caused by such) Tinnitus is a condition and ringing or whooshing in the ears often has a definative cause that can be remedied – even without invasive surgery.
Tinnitus retraining is one such therapy recognized by medical scholars and Academies to be efficacious in the treatment of tinnitus.
When it comes to treatment or cures, there are many options available from invasive surgery, to chemical ‘traditional’ medication, to natural cures via different holistic methods including lifestyle, food, and circumstance changes.
At Tinnitusterminator.com We personally believe that there is no ‘one size fits all’ regarding tinnitus remedies. Every case must be judged on its own merit – we are after all individuals, and every body reacts in different ways to different circumstances – generally speaking.
This site is aimed at the ‘natural’ or ‘holistic‘ remedies available to tinnitus sufferers, as these are the very remedies that most (not all) traditional doctors or medical practitioners tend to ignore in favour of medication or surgery – in my opinion. This leaves possible solutions hidden away from the very section of the public that needs them most.
Tinnitus has many causes, some of which can be easily avoided by using appropriate ear protectors when using noisy equipment for instance. In fact any noise that is deemed to be excessive (over 35 dB) should warrent the use of ear mufflers or ear plugs. This is a cheap and effective preventative measure for potential ear troubles.
Personally I think that It is good to know ALL the options available in order to come to an educated, informed decision!
If you or someone you know suffer from tinnitus then do not despair – the solution is out there!
